This family-owned company also has 11 retail outlets, a fresh wholesale delivery service and a frozen food operation delivering both ready-baked and un-baked products. The challenge was to promote Wrights amongst football fans – particularly those at grounds that sell Wrights pies such as Stoke City’s Britannia Stadium.
GSD® designers came up with a quick-to-download app featuring all the latest football news and a great game too. Not only does the app deliver great half-time updates and entertainment, it also promotes the Wrights pies on sale.
With automatic updates displaying all Barclays Premiership scores, plus ‘Penalty Pies’, a fun twist on the penalty kick scenario featuring Wrights own goalkeeper, the app is ideal for the football fan on the go and at the ground. As a result, brand awareness and pie sales have been significantly raised.
