Mike Yates came to GSD® for help promoting his unique football autobiography. Mike Yates tells his own compelling real life story of what it is like to be one of the many thousands of young players who pass through the academy system, get very close to the first team and believe that they are about to make it, only to suddenly find themselves rejected. The plan was to create a Website and Social Media campaign, showcasing not only the promotion of his new book but a Mike Yates brand, giving you an insight into the man behind the story!
GSD® first created a design consisting of bold typography and colours which tied in with the famous Liverpool Football Club red. The website included key elements that reflected the design of the book sleeve, creating the perfect online shop window for promoting the title. The website also included a profile and gallery page where you could learn more about Mike and his career with Liverpool Football Club. Key links to Amazon and Waterstone’s provide the opportunity to purchase the book directly from the website.
