Three 2026 Stevie® Awards
Gold for Professor Graham Shapiro as Best Digital Entrepreneur, plus two Silvers for Reggie® Firedrill, at The 23rd Annual International Business Awards
GSD® has been named a winner of three Stevie® Awards in The 23rd Annual International Business Awards® — a Gold for founder Professor Graham Shapiro, and two Silvers for the agency’s fire drill safety platform, Reggie® Firedrill.
The wins
- GOLD — Professor Graham Shapiro, Best Digital Entrepreneur
- SILVER — Reggie® Firedrill, Achievement in Technology Innovation
- SILVER — Reggie® Firedrill, Achievement in Health and Safety Excellence
The International Business Awards® are the world’s premier business awards programme. This year’s competition drew more than 3,400 nominations from organisations in 82 nations and territories, judged by over 200 business professionals worldwide across nine specialist committees. Past Stevie® winners include Apple, BT and Samsung.
“Three Stevies in one year is a proud moment for everyone here,” said Professor Graham Shapiro, founder of GSD®. “The Gold is a lovely thing to receive, but the two Silvers for Reggie® Firedrill are the ones that really matter. They say the fire safety world is ready for something better than a clipboard and a headcount in the car park. My thanks go to the team who built it and to the clients who trusted us to try.”
About Reggie® Firedrill
Reggie® Firedrill is a patent pending world’s first GPS-enabled fire drill app and platform that replaces the paper roll call. Staff and visitors check in and out automatically, so wardens can see in real time who is in the building and who is still unaccounted for, call missing personnel directly from the app, manage visitors by QR code, and keep secure, audit-ready records of every drill. It is free for staff and visitors, with organisations subscribing through the Reggie® web platform.
“The 2026 International Business Awards winners represent the very best in business achievement from organizations of all sizes and across virtually every industry,” said Stevie Awards President Maggie Miller. “This year’s winners have demonstrated exceptional innovation, leadership, resilience, and results in a highly competitive global field. We congratulate every Stevie Award winner and look forward to celebrating their achievements together in Paris on October 28.”
Winners will be celebrated at a gala event at the Pullman Paris Montparnasse on Wednesday 28 October. Full details and the complete list of winners are available at IBA.StevieAwards.com.
